Alfredo Baldomir Ferrari (August 27, 1884 – February 25, 1948) was a Uruguayan soldier, architect, and politician from the Colorado Party. He served as the 27th President of Uruguay from June 19, 1938, to March 1, 1943, with Alfredo Navarro as his vice president. Baldomir was born in Montevideo and trained as both a military officer and an architect. He worked in the army and in military construction, and he also taught at military and architectural schools.

Before becoming president, he held several important roles: chief of police of Montevideo (1931), Second Vice President (1934), and Minister of National Defense (1935–1939). He supported the Allied side in World War II, while Uruguay remained formally neutral, and he broke off diplomatic ties with the Axis Powers in 1942.

In 1942 Baldomir used a military move to dissolve parliament, extend his term for a year, and push through a new constitution. The 1943 elections followed, and he left the presidency on March 1, 1943. After leaving office, he led the Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay from 1943 to 1946. He died in Montevideo in 1948.

During his presidency, Uruguay implemented various social and labor reforms, including housing programs for low‑income people, health and safety rules for workers, and expanded pension and social security coverage.
