Platypelis pollicaris, also known as the common giant tree frog, is a frog species in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to northern and eastern Madagascar. It lives in moist forests from lowland to montane elevations, as well as plantations and heavily degraded forests. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, but habitat loss remains a threat.
