Akio Mizuta

Akio Mizuta (水田 章雄), born July 11, 1973, in Kanan, Osaka, Japan, is a former professional baseball pitcher. He bats and throws right-handed. Mizuta made his Nippon Professional Baseball debut on June 23, 1999, with the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks. He played for the Hawks (later the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks) from 1999 to 2010 in Japan’s Pacific League.
