Phytalmia cervicornis, or the stag fly, is a species of fruit fly in the genus Phytalmia. It is native to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Diptera; Family Tephritidae.

Binomial name: Phytalmia cervicornis (Gerstaecker, 1860). A synonym is Elaphomyia cervicornis (Saunders, 1861).
