Physegenua
Physegenua is a neotropical genus of small flies in the family Lauxaniidae. The genus was described by Macquart in 1848. Classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Diptera; Family Lauxaniidae; Subfamily Lauxaniinae. There are 11 species in Physegenua. These flies are part of the larger group of muscomorph flies in the superfamily Lauxanioidea.
