Phorinia is a genus of flies in the Tachinidae family. It belongs to the subfamily Exoristinae and the tribe Exoristini. The genus was described by Robineau-Desvoidy in 1830, and its type species is Phorinia aurifrons (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830). Synonyms include Bessiola (Mesnil, 1960) and Eretria (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863).
