Tim Bevan, CBE (born 20 December 1957) is a New Zealand-born British film producer. He co-chairs Working Title Films with Eric Fellner. They are among the most successful British producers of their era. By 2017 their films had grossed about $7 billion worldwide and earned many awards, including 12 Academy Awards and 39 BAFTAs.

Early life
Bevan was born in Queenstown, New Zealand. He attended Sidcot School from 1969 to 1974 and then Cheltenham College in Gloucestershire, England.

Career
In 1983 he co-founded Working Title Films in London with Sarah Radclyffe. Radclyffe left in 1991, and Eric Fellner joined as partner. Bevan has produced or executive produced more than 40 films, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Elizabeth, Notting Hill, Billy Elliot, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Love Actually, Atonement, The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and more. Working Title is known for its long-running collaboration with the Coen brothers on films such as Barton Fink, Fargo, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?

In 1999 Working Title signed a deal with Universal Studios worth around $600 million, granting Bevan and Fellner power to approve projects up to $35 million without consulting investors.

Bevan is a co-producer of the West End musical Billy Elliot.

Honours and philanthropy
Bevan was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2005 for services to the British film industry. In 2013 he and Fellner received the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures from the Producers Guild of America. In 2019, they helped launch the London Screen Academy, a sixth-form school teaching behind-the-camera skills to about 800 students.

Personal life
Bevan was married to actress Joely Richardson from 1992 to 2001; they have a daughter, Daisy (born 1992). He is now married to Amy Gadney, with whom he has a daughter and a son.
