Pheca, also spelled Phaika or Phaeca (Phecadum), was an ancient fortress and town in Thessaly, located between the Portes Pass and Gomphi. In 198 BCE, during the war against Philip V of Macedon, Amynander of Athamania and the Roman consul Titus Quinctius Flamininus descended from the Portes Pass and captured Pheca first, then Gomphi. The site of Pheca is near modern Varybobi.
