Petals of Reincarnation
Petals of Reincarnation is a Japanese manga by Mikihisa Konishi. It follows Touya Senji, who joins the Forest of the Greats to battle the rival group called the Sinners, who resurrect infamous and evil figures from history. The story explores identity, morality, and whether to live in a past life or build a new future. It began in May 2014 in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade, then moved to the Comic Blade website in September 2014. As of August 2025, there are 22 collected volumes. The series is licensed in English digitally by Mangamo.
An anime adaptation by Benten Film was announced on August 1, 2024 and is scheduled to premiere in April 2026 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. It is directed by Shun Kudō, with Kōsuke Murayama as assistant director, Atsuo Ishino on series composition, Haruna Katō designing the characters, and Kohta Yamamoto composing the music. The opening theme is "Glitch" by eill, and the ending theme is "ZERO" by Sizuk. Sentai Filmworks co-produces and it will stream on Hidive. By August 2024, the series had over 3 million copies in circulation.
