Armiger: Territory of Norfolk Island
Adopted: 20 October 1980
Crest: From a blue naval crown rises a gold half-lion wearing a laurel wreath around its neck and holding a gold-covered cup.
Torse: Silver and blue.
Shield: The shield is blue and white, divided with a chevron. In the upper blue part are two white stars. From a rocky hill in the lower white part grows a Norfolk Island pine tree in natural colors, and there is an open book with a red leather cover edged in gold.
Supporters: On the right, a lion; on the left, a kangaroo, each with its outer foreleg resting on a blue upright anchor.
Motto: INASMUCH
The coat of arms is an official symbol of Norfolk Island, an external Australian territory. It was granted by royal warrant of Queen Elizabeth II in 1980. The motto comes from the local anthem, “Come Ye Blessed.”
