V. P. Kandasamy is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu. He belongs to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). He is a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, representing the Sulur constituency. He took office on 19 May 2019 and is the incumbent MLA. He was elected from Sulur in May 2021. He has a Master of Arts degree from Sikkanna College of Arts and Sciences, University of Madras, graduating in 1979.
