Pennsylvania Route 299 (PA 299) is a very short state highway in Millcreek Township, Erie County. It covers 0.05 miles on Powell Avenue and is the Staff Sergeant Jeremy R. Horton Memorial Bridge, which carries Powell Avenue over two railroads. The route was created in 1930 as a short spur of PA 99 and was paved from the start. In 2011 PA 299 was almost completely removed from the state highway system, leaving only the bridge designated as PA 299; the rest of Powell Avenue is now a township road. The Pennsylvania portion ends at the south end of the bridge, and Powell Avenue continues to US 20. North of the bridge the road heads toward Erie International Airport, where it bypasses the runway as 20th Street and Marshall Drive before reconnecting near PA 5 and PA 5 Alternate along the Lake Erie shoreline. All of PA 299 is in Millcreek Township.
