Courtacon
Courtacon is a small commune in the Seine-et-Marne department, in the Île-de-France region of north-central France. It covers about 112 square kilometers and has a population of 245 people (2023). The Aubetin river runs westward through the southern part of the commune, helps form part of its borders, and crosses the village. The residents are called Courtaconnais. Courtacon is part of the Provins arrondissement and the Provins canton, within the CC Provinois intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Didier Agnus. The land is hilly, with elevations between 132 and 184 meters above sea level.
