Paul Fairchild

Paul Jay Fairchild (born September 14, 1961) is a former American football player. He was born in Carroll, Iowa, and grew up in Glidden, Iowa, where he played for Glidden–Ralston High School. He played college football for the Kansas Jayhawks. In the 1984 NFL Draft, Fairchild was selected in the fifth round (124th overall) by the New England Patriots. He played as a guard (also as a center) for the Patriots from 1984 to 1990, wearing number 66. Over seven NFL seasons, he appeared in 83 games, starting 38.
