Patrice et Mario
Patrice et Mario were an Italian singer-guitarist duo who were popular in France in the 1940s and 1950s. Patrice Patrizzio Paganessi (1915–1992) and Mario Moro (1918–2002) performed Mediterranean-style songs, part of a French trend that also included Luis Mariano and Tino Rossi. Their fame in Africa was so well known that another duo later used their name: Philippe Vungbo (alias Lando) and Cantador Rossignol.
