Paso Robles station is an intercity rail station in Paso Robles, California. It is owned by the City of Paso Robles and is located at 800 Pine Street. The station sits on one track with a single side platform. It is accessible and has parking.
Services and connections
- Amtrak Coast Starlight runs daily through Paso Robles.
- Amtrak Thruway buses connect here with Pacific Surfliner and Gold Runner trains.
- Connections include Amtrak Thruway routes 17, 18, and 21; Monterey-Salinas Transit route 83; Paso Express; and San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority route 9.
Building and history
- The current station building was completed around 1997–1998.
- The original 1886 station building is just south of the current one and is now used for retail space.
Passenger use
- In fiscal year 2025, about 20,034 passengers boarded Amtrak trains at Paso Robles.
Coast Starlight route details
- When traveling north toward Seattle, the preceding stop is Salinas. When traveling south toward Los Angeles, the following stop is San Luis Obispo.
- In the past, other rail lines served the site, and there are plans for ongoing Coast Starlight service through the area via other nearby towns.
