Padre Pedro Chien Municipality
Padre Pedro Chien Municipality is one of 11 municipalities in Bolívar state, Venezuela. The municipal seat is the town of El Palmar. The area covers 3,695.5 square kilometers. In 2011, about 15,488 people lived there, giving a population density of about 4.2 residents per square kilometer. The municipality accounts for roughly 1% of Bolívar state's population. The mayor is Benny Ramos Romero of the PSUV party. The municipality is divided into a single parish, Capital Padre Pedro Chien.
