Pálava is a white wine grape from the Czech Republic. It was developed in 1953 by Josef Veverka in Moravia. Pálava is a cross of Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau. The grape is mainly grown in the Czech Republic, with small plantings in Slovakia. In 2018 there were about 594 hectares planted in the Czech Republic, mostly in the Mikulov region (about 45% of the plantings). Pálava wines are full-bodied, aromatic, and subtly sweet, with a golden-yellow color. It is a Vitis vinifera variety (VIVC number 8875).
