Páez Municipality, Apure
Páez Municipality is one of seven municipalities in Apure state, Venezuela. The municipal seat is Guasdualito. It covers about 12,125 square kilometers. In 2011 the population was about 100,125, with a density of roughly 8.3 people per square kilometer. The municipality is divided into five parishes: Urbana Guasdualito, Aramendi, El Amparo, San Camilo and Urdaneta. It is named after the independence hero José Antonio Páez, and the mayor is José Ramírez Segura (PSUV).
