Andrate is a small municipality in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, within the Metropolitan City of Turin. It is located about 50 kilometers north of Turin, covers 9.31 square kilometers, and sits at an elevation of about 820 meters. As of November 2017, about 489 people lived there, and the residents are called Andratesi. Andrate borders Settimo Vittone, Donato, Nomaglio, Borgofranco d'Ivrea, and Chiaverano. It lies on the Ivrea Moraine, with terrain ranging from 550 to 2,227 meters above sea level.
