Nigerian National Honours are a set of awards given every year to Nigerians and friends of Nigeria. They were created by the National Honors Act No. 5 of 1964 during the First Republic to recognize people who have served the country. These honours are separate from Nigeria's ancient chieftaincy titles.

They are among the highest awards a person can receive from Nigeria for service to the nation.

In order of importance, the main honours are:
- GCFR: Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (usually awarded to former Presidents)
- GCON: Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (often awarded to former Vice Presidents and other top leaders; the Chief Justice and the President of the Senate also receive GCON in their first year)
- CON: Commander of the Order of the Niger (usually awarded to Justices of the Supreme Court)

Some states also have their own honours for distinguished people. For example, Kogi State has four ranks: Grand Confluence Silver Service Star, Distinguished Confluence Silver Service Star, Confluence Merit Silver Service Star, and Confluence Commendation Silver Service Star.
