The Chase Heat are a Junior A ice hockey team from Chase, British Columbia. They compete in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL), in the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference. Their home arena is the Art Holding Memorial Arena, and the team colors are white, red, and black. The Heat were founded in 2011 as an expansion team; before them, Chase had the Chase Chiefs (2007–2010), who relocated to Kelowna to become the Kelowna Chiefs. The team’s president is Darryl Adamson, and the head coach and general manager is Nick Deschenes. In the 2016–17 season, Chase Heat won their division title for the first time and also captured the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference title by defeating the Osoyoos Coyotes in a best-of-five series (3–2). They then lost to the Beaver Valley Nitehawks in the regional finals, 0–3. For more information, visit chaseheat.com.
