Triodide may refer to:
- Triiodide ion (I3−): a small, negatively charged molecule made of three iodine atoms in a row. It forms when iodine (I2) reacts with iodide (I−) in solution. This ion is common in iodine solutions and is responsible for color changes seen in starch tests and other iodine reactions.
- More broadly, “triiodide” can describe any thing containing three iodine atoms, but the best-known use is the I3− ion.
