O Comércio de Guimarães is a regional weekly newspaper from Guimarães, Portugal. Its first issue appeared on May 15, 1884, and it was founded and directed by António Joaquim de Azevedo Machado. The paper stayed in his family until December 1985, when publication was temporarily suspended. It resumed in March 1986 as a fortnightly paper under the Santiago Group, which is the current owner, and became a weekly publication in 1989.
