Nyzhniv
Nyzhniv is a village in western Ukraine, located in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast within Ivano-Frankivsk Raion. The Dniester River flows near its eastern edge, and the Dniester Canyon begins close to the village. Nyzhniv is part of the Tlumach urban hromada, a local government community. The population was about 2,000 in 2022. The village is also known as Niżniów in Polish and Niznow in German. Coordinates: 48°56′42″N 25°05′48″E.
Until July 18, 2020, Nyzhniv belonged to Tlumach Raion. The 2020 administrative reform merged Tlumach Raion into Ivano-Frankivsk Raion.
