Daniel J. Gallagher
Daniel J. Gallagher (August 31, 1873 – March 24, 1953) was an American attorney and Democratic politician from Massachusetts. Born in Newton, he studied at Boston College and Boston University School of Law. He served as United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts from 1920 to 1921. Gallagher was a delegate to the Massachusetts Constitutional Convention of 1917–1918 and later a delegate to the 1932 Democratic National Convention representing Massachusetts. His son, Owen A. Gallagher, later served in the Massachusetts General Court. Gallagher died in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
