The Nordic Futsal Championship (NFC) is a club competition for the champions of Nordic countries (Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden). It started in 2006 in Stockholm, when the Stockholm Futsal Club invited Nordic champions to decide who was the best in Nordic futsal. The cup has been held several times and, since 2013, it has been an annual event usually staged a few weeks before the UEFA futsal qualifiers in August. The format changes from year to year and there are no fixed rules or ownership; the winning club typically hosts the next edition. The event is mainly announced and coordinated via the cup’s Facebook page. The current champions are SoVo Futsal, winning their first title, and about six teams typically participate.
