Nochern is a small municipality and village in western Germany. It is in the Rhein-Lahn district of Rhineland-Palatinate and is part of the Loreley municipal association. The area covers 7.11 square kilometers and sits about 250 meters above sea level. As of December 2023, about 479 people lived there. The town has 12 hectares of south-facing vineyards along the Rhine valley, and the Rheinsteig hiking trail passes through Nochern. The mayor for 2019–2024 is Rudolf Speich.
