Noah's Ark (fun house)
Noah's Ark is an old amusement-park walk-through attraction built from 1919 to 1936. It is a fun house shaped like Noah’s Ark from the Bible, often with scenes of animals and Noah plus classic fun-house gags. The first one opened at Venice Pier in California in 1919, designed and built by Leroy Ramond, who sold the manufacturing rights to William Dentzel the next year. Today, only one Noah’s Ark still operates, at Kennywood Park near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There was another at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England, but it hasn’t run since 2008 and now stands as a decorative feature at the park entrance.
