Nishi-Koizumi Station
Nishi-Koizumi Station (西小泉駅, Nishi-Koizumi-eki) is a passenger railway station in Ōizumi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the private rail company Tobu Railway and is the terminus of the Tobu Koizumi Line. The station code is TI-46. It is 13.2 km from Tatebayashi, the other end of the line.
The station has one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge.
History:
- Opened on December 1, 1941 to serve the Koizumi plant of Nakajima Aircraft Company as part of the Sengoku-Kashi Freight Line.
- Station numbering was introduced on March 17, 2012, and this station became TI-46.
- In fiscal 2019, an average of 1,523 passengers used the station daily (boarding only).
