Searunner 37

Searunner 37 is a trimaran sailboat designed by Jim Brown in the 1960s. It’s the second largest in the Searunner line, smaller than the Searunner 40. Brown kept the narrow Piver-style hulls but added a centerboard, a center cockpit, and a cutter rig. Among 47 multihulls seen outside the U.S., 13 were Brown designs. Some owners note poor payload capacity and a tendency to hobby-horse on the 31 and 37 models, while the 40-foot version is highly praised. The boat has an outstanding safety record, and its divided accommodations provide excellent ventilation in tropical conditions.
