Nicolae Nere

Nicolae Nere (born 6 December 1981 in Bucharest) is a Romanian rugby union player who plays as a prop. He is 1.85 m tall and weighs 102 kg. He spent much of his club career with Steaua București, and also played for Bucharest Wolves in the Amlin Challenge Cup, as well as Farul Constanța and CSM București. He earned 18 caps for Romania from 2006 to 2011, scoring one try (5 points). He was part of Romania's squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, appearing in one match. He has not played for the national team since 2011.
