Westgate is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, part of the Miami metropolitan area. It covers about 1.5 square miles, all land, and sits about 13 feet above sea level. The 2020 census counted 8,435 people living in 2,263 households and 1,818 families, with a population density of about 5,553 people per square mile. The ZIP code is 33409 and the area codes are 561 and 728. Westgate is located at roughly 26.70°N, 80.10°W. It was known as Westgate-Belvedere Homes before 2010.

In 2000, Westgate had about 8,134 residents with a mix of racial groups and languages: roughly 62% were White, about 24% African American, and about 32% were Hispanic or Latino. English was the first language for about 61% of residents, Spanish for about 31%, with small numbers speaking French Creole or French.
