Nevada State Route 667
State Route 667 (SR 667) is a short state highway in the Reno–Sparks area of Washoe County, Nevada. It runs about 3.8 miles along Kietzke Lane, a major north–south road. SR 667 begins at S. Virginia Street (US 395 Business) in Reno and heads north, crossing the Truckee River area and passing under I-580 and US 395, before ending at Galletti Way on the Sparks–Reno city line. Kietzke Lane continues past the end of SR 667 toward Victorian Avenue (I‑80 Business).
History and changes:
- In the late 1970s, as US 395 was upgraded to a freeway, a temporary US 395 designation used the SR 667 corridor to connect with south Reno. By 1982, the US 395 freeway reached S. Virginia Street, ending the temporary designation.
- Until around 2006–2008, SR 667 extended south along Neil Road to connect with I-580/US 395. That portion was removed from the state system by 2008, but the Neil Road segment under I‑580/US 395 remains as a Nevada DOT frontage road (FRWA44). Neil Road was formerly Del Monte Lane.
- By 2017, the Sparks portion from Galletti Way to Victorian Avenue was largely turned over to local control and renamed Battle Born Way; the nearby I‑80 overpass area remains a state-maintained frontage road (FRWA59).
- The entire route is in Washoe County.
