Nephele accentifera, the accented hawk, is a moth in the Sphingidae family. It was first described in 1821 by Palisot de Beauvois. This species is common in most habitats across the Ethiopian Region, except Madagascar and the Cape Peninsula. The caterpillars feed on the leaves of fig trees Ficus sur and Ficus natalensis. It has had several other scientific names in the past.
