Loeskypnum
Loeskypnum is a genus of mosses. Classification: Kingdom Plantae; Division Bryophyta; Class Bryopsida; Order Hypnales; Family Amblystegiaceae. It is found in Eurasia and North America. The name honors Leopold Loeske (1865–1935), a German watchmaker and amateur bryologist. The genus was first described by Hermann Karl Gustav Paul in 1918. Little is known here about the species within Loeskypnum.
