Ndolé is a traditional Cameroonian stew. It is made with ground peanuts, crayfish, onions, garlic, and ndolé leaves, and can include fish or beef (shrimp is sometimes added). It originated in Douala, in Cameroon's Littoral region, and is often considered the national dish. Ndolé is usually served hot with sides such as fried or boiled plantains and miondo (fermented manioc dumplings) or bobolo (manioc dumplings).
