Natham R. Viswanathan
Natham R. Viswanathan (born 11 December 1949) is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu and a senior AIADMK leader. He is the Deputy General Secretary of AIADMK since July 13, 2022, working with K. P. Munusamy, and previously served as AIADMK Organisation Secretary (2018–2022). He has held ministerial roles in Tamil Nadu, including Minister for Electricity, Prohibition & Excise (2011–2016) and Minister for Transport (2001–2006). He is the Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Natham, first elected in 1999 and serving until 2016, and then re-elected in 2021. He also served as Chairman of the Natham Panchayat Union (1986–1991). Born in Uluppakudi, he studied at Alagappa College. He resides at Vembarpatti Post, Dindigul District, and has three children: Amarnath, Kavitha, and Ranjitha.
