Fairground Saints are a country music trio from Santa Barbara, California. They formed in 2014 when Mason Van Valin, wanting to turn his solo project into a group, posted a Facebook ad; Elijah Edwards replied and they connected with Megan McAllister on YouTube. Their music was first released with Verve Records in 2014, and after leadership changes they released new music through The Orchard. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2015 and features the hit "Turn This Car Around" (premiered on NPR) and the singles "Can't Control the Weather" (premiered on Paste Magazine on September 21, 2015), "Somewhere Down the Line," and "California." In 2016, Huffington Post named them one of "Music’s Fantastic 15 of 2015." They toured with Scotty McCreery in 2017 and have opened for Brothers Osborne, Kip Moore, Sara Evans, and Thompson Square. Rolling Stone praised their breezy, Laurel Canyon–inspired sound in 2019 and called them one of the country and Americana artists you need to know. Taste of Country compared their vibe to Little Big Town with a West Coast sun and surf.
