Naresh Gujral (born 19 May 1948) is an Indian Chartered Accountant and politician from Punjab. He belongs to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party and served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, representing Punjab, from 22 March 2007 to 9 April 2022. He was succeeded by Raghav Chadha.

Early life and family: He was born in Jalandhar, East Punjab. He is the son of former Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral and Sheila Gujral, a noted Hindi poet. His grandfather was Avtar Narain Gujral and his uncle Satish Gujral was a celebrated artist. He completed his schooling at Modern School and earned a BA from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi in 1968. He is an FCA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Career: He started a clothing company called SPAN. He contested the 2004 Lok Sabha election from the Jalandhar constituency as a SAD candidate but lost.

Personal life: He is married to Anjali Gujral and they have two daughters, Deeksha and Diva. He resides in Jalandhar.
