Nai Nabhannu La 5 is a 2018 Nepali drama film. It is the fifth movie in the Nai Nabhannu La series. The film is directed by Bikash Raj Acharya and written with Samipya Raj Timilsena. It is produced by Haribol Bandari and Gauri Raj Joshi under One Time Cinema. The cast includes Niruta Singh, Dilip Rayamajhi, Priyanka Karki, Keki Adhikari, Abishek Nepal, Swastima Khadka, Anubhav Regmi and Sedrina Sharma.

Plot
From a young age, Neer (Anubhav Regmi) and Anjana (Sedrina Sharma) are in love, but Anjana dies young. Many years later, Anjana’s twin sister falls in love with the older Neer, but he isn’t interested. They walk the streets where they used to spend time together. The sister insists she is his true love, but Neer remains distant. She leaves him on a boat and Neer goes to her home to see her. There he finds Anjana’s sister reading a diary written by him, and she says they met only once. Neer realizes that the memories he has been living with come from Anjana herself, as if he has been speaking with her spirit. He returns to the familiar place and pleads for Anjana to come back. At that moment Anjana’s sister appears, and they embrace.

Reception and box office
The film received mostly positive reviews from Nepalese audiences. It became one of the highest-grossing Nepali films of 2018, ranking 16th on the list of highest-grossing Nepali films. It earned about 4.6 million in the first three days after its release.
