Nadie como tú (TV series)
Nadie como tú (One of a Kind) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Ignacio Sada Madero for TelevisaUnivision. It is based on the 2010 Portuguese series Espírito Indomável by Sandra Santos. It aired on Las Estrellas from 14 August 2023 to 28 January 2024 and stars Eduardo Santamarina, Karla Esquivel, Brandon Peniche, Diego Olivera, Alejandra Barros, Irina Baeva, Iván Arana and Elizabeth Álvarez.
Plot in simple terms:
Two families, the Madrigales and the Figueroas, move to San Miguel Arcángel to make mezcal. Teresa Madrigal has an affair with José María Figueroa. When Raimundo Madrigal finds out, he attacks Teresa. Teresa runs away with her children, and Raimundo causes a car crash that leaves Bianca (the Madrigal baby) believed dead. Bianca is rescued by Eréndira and raised as her own daughter Ximena. Years later, Ximena falls in love with Salvador, José María’s son. Eréndira reveals the truth about Bianca, reigniting the families’ feud and threatening the couple’s future.
Production notes:
Pre-production was announced in March 2023. Brandon Peniche was named the lead, Irina Baeva was cast as the antagonist, and Karla Esquivel joined to star opposite Peniche. Filming began on 8 May 2023.
