Mutare Airport is a public airport that serves Mutare, the fourth largest city in Zimbabwe and the capital of Manicaland province. The airport's IATA code is UTA and its ICAO code is FVMU. It sits at an elevation of 3,410 feet (1,039 meters) above sea level. The coordinates are about 18°59′50″S 32°37′40″E.

The airport has a single runway, 12/30, which is 950 meters (3,117 feet) long with a Macadam surface. The Mutare non-directional beacon (NDB), identifier MU, is located on a ridgeline about 4.5 nautical miles northeast of the field.
