Mobu language
Mobu, or Mobumrin, is a Kru language spoken by the Aizi (Ahizi) people along the Ébrié Lagoon in Ivory Coast. It is not mutually intelligible with Lele (Tiagba), another Aizi language in the same area. The endonym for the language is Mobuin, and Frukpu is the name used for all Aizi. Mobu belongs to the Niger–Congo language family (Atlantic–Congo > Kru > Aizi > Mobu). Its ISO code is ahm and its Glottolog code is mobu1235. As of 1999, about 2,000 people were native speakers.
