Mobolanle Ebunoluwa Sotunsa
Mobolanle Ebunoluwa Sotunsa, known as Bola Sotunsa, is a Nigerian academic. She is a professor of Gender Studies and African Oral Literatures in Babcock University’s Department of Languages and Literary Studies. She earned an MA at the University of Ibadan in 1998, and her thesis became the book Feminism and Gender Discourse: The African Experience. She earned her PhD in English from the University of Ibadan, where she studied under Ademola Dasylva. Sotunsa joined Babcock’s Language and Literary Studies Department, rising to senior lecturer and head of department. In 2018 she delivered her inaugural professorial lecture, “Gender Matters and Cultural Dilemmas in African Literature,” at Babcock University.
