Mobico Group, formerly National Express Group, is a British multinational transport company based in Birmingham, England. It runs bus and coach services in the UK under the National Express brand and operates rail and coach services in Europe, the Middle East and beyond. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange (ticker: MCG).

A brief history
- 1972: Formed from the National Bus Company to unify UK scheduled coach services; National Express brand launched in 1974.
- 1988–1990s: Privatization, acquisitions, and expansion into rail and airports; growth included several major UK and overseas operations.
- 2007–2009: Won and later defaulted on the National Express East Coast rail franchise, leading to government takeovers and restructuring.
- 2010s: Continued international expansion and diversification in transport services.
- 2023: Rebranded to Mobico Group and began reorganizing under a single corporate umbrella.
- 2025: Chief executive Ignacio Garat announced departure; interim chair Phil White took over as the group searches for a new leader; North American school bus operations sold to I Squared Capital.
Mobico Group remains a global transport player, focusing on bus and coach networks in the UK and other regions, alongside selected international rail and cross-border services.
