Mivirus
Mivirus is a genus of negative-strand RNA viruses that infect arthropods. Its genomes can be nonsegmented or split into two segments (bisegmented); genomes are generally linear, though some members may be circular. There are ten species in the genus. The name Mivirus comes from Mǐ, the ancestral name of King Zhuang of Chu, combined with the suffix -virus used for virus genera. Taxonomically, Mivirus is classified within Riboviria, Orthornavirae, Negarnaviricota, Monjiviricetes, Jingchuvirales, and Chuviridae.
