Miss Earth 2006 was the sixth edition of the Miss Earth pageant. It was held on 26 November 2006 at the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila. Hil Hernández of Chile won the title, giving Chile its first Miss Earth crown. Alexandra Braun of Venezuela crowned her as the winner. There were 82 contestants from countries and territories around the world, with 16 finalists.

The event was hosted by Ariel Ureta, Priscilla Meirelles, and Ginger Conejero, with entertainment by Filipino singer and actor Christian Bautista. The show was broadcast by ABS-CBN, The Filipino Channel, and Star World.

Originally, the pageant was planned to take place in Santiago, Chile on 15 November 2006, and would be the first Miss Earth held outside the Philippines and in Asia. However, the Chilean organizers could not confirm a suitable venue, hotel accommodations, or a broadcasting station, so Carousel Productions moved the pageant to the Philippines with less than two months to prepare.

On 24 November, several delegates appeared as suitcase models on Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal, following a similar idea used by Miss USA contestants earlier that year.

Awards and participants:
- Miss Congeniality: Maria Lucia Leo (Italy)
- Best National Costume: Mililani Vienna Tofa (Samoa)
- Miss Photogenic: Riza Santos (Canada)

Debuts for 2006 included Botswana, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, England, Georgia, Guadeloupe, Ireland, Liberia, Lithuania, Tibet, and Wales. A number of countries withdrew, while Albania, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland returned to compete.
