Minuscule 137 (also known as Codex Vaticanus 756 or A153) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on parchment. Dated to the 12th century, it contains the four Gospels on about 300 leaves (28.6 × 21.5 cm), in one column per page with 19 lines. The book has marginal notes and a Mark commentary by Victor, and includes tables of contents (κεφαλαια), chapter titles (τιτλοι), Ammonian sections (in Mark), but no Eusebian Canons. It also features synaxaria, a Menologion, and illustrations. The text is Byzantine in character (Aland Category V); in Luke it mostly aligns with family Kx in chapters 1 and 10, with a mixture in chapter 20, forming textual cluster 137. An inscription records that the manuscript was brought to Rome in A.D. 1583. It was examined by Birch around 1782 and seen by Gregory in 1886. It is currently held at the Vatican Library, Vat. gr. 756, in Rome.
