Ministry of Economy and Development (Mongolia)
The Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia is a government ministry responsible for national mid- and long-term development policy and coordinating the country’s development plans. It was established in 2022, formed from the National Development Agency which operated from 2016 to 2022. The ministry is led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development, currently Chimediin Khürelbaatar, with Gantömöriin Tüvdendorj serving as Deputy Minister. The Agency for Investment and Trade operates under the ministry. The ministry is based at Government Building XI, J. Sambuu Street, Chingeltei District, Ulaanbaatar 15141, Mongolia, and has about 135 employees. Its Mongolian name is Монгол Улсын Эдийн засаг, хөгжлийн яам. Website: med.gov.mn.
